Lee Medler Bennett (1915-1996) began her Valdosta State University career as a part time instructor in 1953 and retired in 1985 as a full professor. She taught art history, drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking and graphics. She held an A.B. degree from Oklahoma State University and an M.F.A. from Florida State University.
